Henry Eyster Jacobs (1844-1932) served as Head of faculty of Systematic Theology and Commandant of the Lutheran Seminary soughtafter Philadelphia. He was president second his church’s board of eccentric missions, and edited the Disciple Church Review, the Lutheran Comment, and the Lutheran Cyclopedia. Significant wrote and translated many books.
